Whether you are in need of an energy boost to start the day, or you just need an extra shot of vitamins, we gathered 5 amazing smoothie recipes for you. Try these out at home, then you’ll get why we love smoothies.
- Green smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup spinach (fresh)
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup pineapple
- ½ cup mango
- 1 banana (peeled)
Directions
- Blend spinach with water till all chunks are gone.
- Add pineapple, mango, and banana to the blender.
- Blend all together until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately
2. Banana ginger smoothie
- 1 banana (sliced)
- 1 cup vanilla yoghurt
- 1 tbsp. honey
- ½ tsp grated ginger
Directions
- Combine the banana, yoghurt, honey, and ginger into a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
3. Strawberry Banana smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 cup strawberries
- ½ cup vanilla yoghurt
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 1 cup ice
Directions
- Combine all the fruits and yoghurt together. Blend until smooth.
- Drop a pinch of cinnamon with ice into mix.
4. Workout smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 ½ chopped strawberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- ½ cup raspberries
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- ½ cup ice cubes
Directions
Blend all ingredients together.
5. Mango madness smoothie
Ingredients
- ½ cup pineapple
- Frozen vanilla yoghurt
- ½ cup mango (peeled and chopped)
- 1 ripe banana (sliced)
- Ice
Directions
Combine the pineapple, frozen yoghurt, mango, and banana. Blend until smooth.
With the blender running, gradually drop enough ice until satisfied.
